A Day at She Kicks

Morning (9:00-12:00)

Warmup & technique
Once players arrive to Heights Park soccer field located in Beaconsfield, they will be greeted by the She Kicks female staff and grouped by age category and level. Each morning begins with a structured warm-up, including dynamic stretches and engaging activation games designed to energize players and foster a competitive spirit. The session then transitions into focused technical drills, with each day dedicated to a specific skill set. Our experienced coaching staff has carefully designed these drills to replicate game-like situations, ensuring players can apply what they learn directly to their matches—regardless of their level or position. By the end of the week, players will have refined their technical abilities, gained confidence, and sharpened their understanding of the game—bringing valuable skills back to their teams.

Game time & Scrimmages
After a snack break and hydration in the shade, players put their new skills to the test in small-sided games and scrimmages, fostering teamwork and applying what they've learned in a real-game setting. Our coaching staff will provide tactical guidance and encourage players to explore different positions, helping them develop a well-rounded understanding of the game. To ensure a competitive and rewarding experience, players will be grouped based on skill level. This is a valuable opportunity for them to refine their shooting, dribbling, passing, receiving, and overall gameplay—gaining confidence to bring these skills back to their teams.

Sharpen Your Skills on the Pitch

Afternoon (12:00-3:00)

Lunch
Players are required to bring their own lunch and will have time to refuel and rehydrate in a shaded area. Once a week, they will have the exciting opportunity to meet the She Kicks guest of the week—a female player or coach who will share their journey, experiences, and insights. This session allows players to ask questions, gain inspiration, and learn from role models who have excelled in the game.

Games & Activities
Campers will also enjoy a variety of fun and engaging soccer-themed games such as Soccer Tennis, which enhances touch and coordination, Soccer Baseball, a creative twist on the classic game using soccer skills, and Lightning , a fast-paced competition designed to improve finishing ability. These activities keep the energy high while reinforcing technical skills in an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere. Summers in Montreal can get very hot on the soccer field. Consequently, a hose/sprinkler will be available to players to lower their body temperature.

Cool down
Just as the day begins with a warm-up, it concludes with a structured cool-down. This essential routine helps lower the heart rate, promotes muscle recovery, and reduces the risk of injury after a full day of activity. Players will then be escorted off the field by their coaches and released to their parents for pickup.
